Earth science includes: weather, seasons, water and the water cycle as well as the three states of matter, solid, liquid, gas
Social Studies
The social studies curriculum begins with a study of United States symbols, with emphasis on the flag. Then the students learn to find their location on the planet, moving from school to city and state, on to their country, continent and planet.
We will study the characteristics and traits of Great Americans including Harriet Tubman, Thomas Jefferson, Lewis and Clark, Sacajawea, and George Washington Carver.
